Description :	Chape bleue, lampas de soie à fond cannetillé bleu, lancé et broché de fils de soie polychromes et d'argent, applications de passementerie, galon façonné et franges de fils d'argent, doublure toile de coton jaune ; orfroi taillé dans un lampas à fond de satin bleu, lancé de fils de soie blancs ; motifs de feuilles et de fleurs.

Historique :	Manufacture de tissu et tailleur italiens anonymes. Brocatelle du XVIIIe siècle ; montage de la fin du XIXe siècle. La brocatelle du fond de cette chape est datable du XVIIIe siècle. La pièce est constituée de nombreux morceaux de tailles différentes parfois très petits. Il s'agit manifestement d'un textile de remploi, provenant d'un vêtement féminin. L'assemblage de ces petits morceaux sans continuité logique des motifs empêche de percevoir la composition générale originelle du dessin de l'étoffe. Ce type de tissu était très coûteux. Les exemples conservés sont rares. Le montage est récente. De cette époque datent les franges, les galons, la doublure et le lampas de l'orfroi.
